Experienced Breeders
We are located in Anamosa Iowa. Iowa state licensed breeder #12389. We are an in-home breeder of adorable, loving Miniature Dachshunds. Our dogs are raised and loved as a part of our family. We focus on health and temperament, and we are dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding practices. We do all that we can to make sure our pups get the best care and go to the best homes!

All of our adults are genetically tested both health, coat and color panels. We also test every puppy we produce through Embark. All puppies have Health, color and coat panel testing done. These results go home with the puppy at puppy pick-up.

Our puppy pricing and what goes home with your puppy?
This is our basic puppy info....
Most of our litters are AKC registered. Pups go home with AKC limited - registration- no breeding rights. Each individual pup will be registered before they leave us. We pay for registration. They will come will 30 days of pet health insurance through AKC. All pups are micro-chipped with lifetime enrollment with FI Nano Microchips. Parents are genetically tested health , color and coat panels. All pups have been tested through Embark a full health/color/ coat panels. Embark tests for over 255 health concerns. Pups are wormed a few times, they all will have their first monthly dose of Revolution which is a heartworm, flea, mites, tick, mange preventative. At 6 weeks they receive their first neopar vaccine. At 8 weeks pups receive the Dapp vaccine. All pups will have a health check at our veterinarian's office at 8 weeks old. The vet will also issue each pup an Iowa state health certificate.
We do have an occasional APRI registered litter. This is basically the same.....the difference you receive an APRI registration certificate instead of an AKC one.
Pups go home with their paperwork, a big blanket, a small blanket smelling like mom and littermates, 2 food bowls, collar, leash, 1 potty training booklet, sample food with container, snuggle pup (heartbeat calming buddy), chew toy, squeak plush toy, 2 braided toys, a couple pee pads, poop bags and a bottle of water.
We kept our Puppy prices the same 2022-2024. Due to rising costs, in 2025, there is an increase. Pups will be between $2300-$2500. All pups are subject to 7% sales tax.
***************************************************New....Starting in August of 2025......Past Puppy families will get a past puppy family discount. All pups listed between $2300- $2500 will only be $2150 ( plus tax) for our past puppy families. Past puppy families if you see a pup listed for less than $2300....message me and ask what your price would be for that pup.

Past puppy families do not need to interview again. New families must have a telephone interview.
Puppies are not held without a $500 non-refundable deposit and a signed deposit contract. The remainder of the puppy cost is due at puppy pick-up.
